The Medical Counselling Committee has withdrawn the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result. This decision was made after some government medical colleges reported submitting twice the number of available seats by mistake.
Reason for Withdrawal and Next Steps
The MCC found out that some colleges gave wrong information about seats. They said they had more seats than they really did. This made the MCC give out wrong results. Now, the MCC will make a new, correct result. They told students to wait for the new result before they go to report at colleges. The MCC stopped all reporting for now. They will put out a new result soon.
NEET UG 2025 Counselling Details
The NEET UG 2025 counselling started on September 4. Students could choose their colleges until September 15. There will be three rounds of counselling. After that, there will be one more round for leftover seats. Many students took part in NEET UG 2025. Out of 2276069 students who signed up, 2209318 took the test.
