The Department of TB and Chest at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has adopted 100 TB patients. They gave PoshanPotli to these patients as part of a Government of India initiative.

Prof. Mohammad Shameem, who leads the department, said they want to give long-term food support to TB patients. This will help patients get better. The cost is about 450 rupees for each patient.
