The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has changed how it scores exams given in multiple shifts. The new method is called equipercentile normalization. It aims to be fair to all test takers no matter which shift they take.
How the New Method Works
The old way used top scores and averages to adjust scores. Now, SSC will look at how well a person did compared to others in their shift. For example, if someone did better than 80 percent of people in their shift, they will be matched with others who did the same in different shifts. This helps compare people fairly even if some shifts were harder than others.
SSC Warns Against Exam Malpractice
SSC has also warned people not to share or talk about exam questions. This is now against the law. The new Public Examinations Act of 2024 makes these actions a serious crime. SSC also said not to write answers on rough sheets to fill in later. This looks like cheating to their computer system. They told people not to look at others' computers or talk during the exam. Everyone must also give their fingerprints for the test.
Candidates should follow SSC rules carefully to avoid problems in future exams. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
