Details of Alleged Police Brutality Cases

One case involves Youth Congress member V.S. Sujith, who was beaten at a police station in 2023. CCTV footage shows officers hitting him. In another case, a police officer was seen beating two hotel workers after a fight in 2023. Both videos were obtained through RTI requests. The Congress says they had to fight hard to get the footage released.

Police brutality is not a Left policy. Some officers bring a bad name to both society and the government. All such officers will be dealt with.
