Chief Minister Omar Abdullah gave regular job orders to 863 school workers in Jammu on Thursday. He said all government schools in Jammu and Kashmir will have smart classrooms and labs by March 2026.

Big Plans for School Improvement

The CM said about 1,000 building works are going on in schools. The government will spend 450 crore rupees on these works. By March 2026, all high schools will have smart classrooms and labs. This will help students do as well as others in India. Abdullah said his one year as CM had some problems but also good changes. In Kashmir, 400 workers already got regular jobs. More are being processed quickly.
