Classes 11 and 12 will soon have a new skill-based curriculum. This will be added to the current science, commerce, and humanities streams. Students can learn computer programming, drone technology, and AI along with subjects like maths and languages. The minister said education should make students competent, not just give them degrees. Skill Education to Start from Class 6
Skill education will now be a must from Class 6 onwards. It will no longer be optional. This change follows the National Education Policy 2020 rules. The policy says skill learning should be part of every stage of education. The government thinks this will help achieve its Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
