Skill Based Learning to be Added in Class 11-12 Curriculum

The Government plans to add skill based learning to Class 11 and 12 curriculum. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced this at IIT Madras on Sunday, following National Education Policy recommendations.

New Curriculum to Include Practical Skills

The new curriculum will go beyond science, commerce and humanities. It may include subjects like coding, drone technology and artificial intelligence. This change aims to make students more competent. The government also plans to introduce skill based learning from Class 6 onwards. Skill education will become a formal part of schooling.
