Many Pakistani Hindu refugee children in Delhi are unable to continue their education past 5th grade due to lack of proper documents. About 230 refugee families live near Signature Bridge, but their children face difficulties getting admitted to schools without Aadhaar cards.

Efforts to Continue Education Despite Hurdles

An NGO called Sewa Bharti runs tuition classes in the refugee settlement. Volunteer teachers try to keep children learning. But this cannot replace regular schooling. Some families are thinking of going back to Pakistan due to education problems. The refugees hoped for a better life in India but now feel let down. They want the government to help their children study further.
