Court hearing on NHAI recruitment rules

The Delhi High Court heard a case about NHAI's new rules for hiring lawyers. A lawyer named Shannu Bahgel filed the case. He said CLAT-PG scores should not be used for hiring lawyers. CLAT-PG is a test for students who want to study law after their first degree. The court said this test is for studying, not for getting jobs. The court will hear the case again on September 18.

Concerns about NHAI's hiring process

NHAI wanted to hire 44 young lawyers using CLAT-PG scores from 2022 onwards. Many people think this is not fair. They say it leaves out good lawyers who did not take the CLAT-PG test.
