Joint Projects for Youth Education
KIIT-KISS and UNESCO MGIEP will work together on new education plans. They will start youth-led group projects about SDG challenges. The two groups will also make new courses on Social and Emotional Learning. These courses will give credits to students. They will also teach about Media and Information Literacy. The main goal is to help young people learn skills for building peaceful societies.
Focus on Education for Peace
Dr Achyuta Samanta, who started KIIT and KISS, joined a meeting about Education for Peace in India. He talked about how education helps society grow. Both sides agreed that education is very important to make the world better. They discussed how education can teach empathy, compassion, and critical thinking. These skills are needed to create peaceful and inclusive societies, which is part of SDG 4.7.
