The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for JEE Mains 2026. Registration for Session 1 will start in October 2025, with exams from January 21-30, 2026. Session 2 registration will begin in late January 2026, with exams from April 1-10, 2026.

Exam Details and Paper Structure

The JEE Mains exam will have two shifts each day. The morning shift is from 9 am to 12 noon. The afternoon shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm. There are two papers in JEE Mains. Paper 1 is for B.E. and B.Tech courses. It is also needed to take the JEE Advanced exam for IITs. Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
