IIT Madras has joined hands with Guidance Tamil Nadu to make a dashboard for startups. The dashboard called INNOVATION-TN will show information about startups in Tamil Nadu to help investors and others.
Details of Tamil Nadu Startup Scene
Tamil Nadu has about 19,000 startups as of August 2025. These startups have made more than 2.2 lakh jobs. They have got over 120,000 crore rupees in money. There are 45 startups that have each got 200 crore rupees or more. The state also has 228 places that help startups grow. This is the most for any state in India.
How the Dashboard Will Help
The dashboard will help the government make better plans for startups in different areas. It will also show investors from India and other countries about the startups in Tamil Nadu. This can bring more money to the state. The dashboard was made by a research center at IIT Madras and a startup company. It will help startups find the right people to help them grow their business.
