University of Delhi has announced an On-The-Spot Mop-Up Admission Round for undergraduate admissions 2025-26. The round will be held from September 17 to 19, 2025, to fill vacant seats after Mop-Up Round 1, using Class XII marks instead of CUET scores.
How to Apply for the Special Round
Students already registered on the CSAS (UG)-2025 portal but not admitted can apply through the On-The-Spot Mop-Up tab. New candidates must register at ugadmission.uod.ac.in and pay Rs 1000 plus registration charges. The registration will be open from 5 pm on September 17 to 11:59 pm on September 19, 2025. Students already in a DU program cannot apply. DU will share a list of open seats on its website.
Admission Process and Important Dates
DU will make a list of students based on marks and free seats. Physical admission rounds may start from September 23, 2025. Chosen students will get an email with details about when and where to come. They must come in person with all papers like Class XII marksheet and ID proof. Admission is final only after paying fees online at the spot. Once a seat is given, no changes or leaving is allowed. DU asks students to have enough money ready and check emails often.
Candidates must carry all required documents, including Class XII marksheet, valid ID, and reservation certificate (if applicable).
