Delhi Police busted a child trafficking ring in Uttar Pradesh. They arrested 10 people and rescued 6 babies, including one kidnapped from Delhi in August.
Police Operation and Arrests
Police acted like a sick patient to enter a hospital in UP. They caught a doctor and others who were selling babies. The gang took babies from parents and sold them to couples who wanted children. They sold at least 10 babies in the past 3 years. The gang asked 2 to 5 lakh rupees for each baby. They lied to families, saying the adoptions were legal.
Rescue of Kidnapped Children
Police saved 6 babies. One baby was taken from Delhi bus stand in August. They are trying to find the parents of the other 5 babies. The children are now in safe homes in Delhi. Police chased and caught some gang members who tried to run away. They found babies in different cities like Agra, Lucknow, and Nainital. Police saved 6 babies.
