CBSE has released the tentative timetable for Class 10 Board Exam. The exam will start on February 17 with Mathematics and end on March 9 with language and music papers.

CBSE has released the tentative timetable for Class 10 Board Exam 2026. The exam will start on February 17 with Mathematics and end on March 9 with language and music papers.

Exam Schedule and Details

The Class 10 board exam will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm every day. It will begin with Mathematics on February 17. The last exam will be for language and music on March 9. A second exam will start on May 15 and end on June 1. This second exam is for compartment subjects. Students can find the timetable on the CBSE website cbse.gov.in.

Expected Participation and Preparation

About 45 lakh students are likely to take the exam in 2026. They will appear for 204 subjects in Class 10 and 12. Students from India and 26 other countries will take part. CBSE will also conduct practical exams and evaluation along with the main exams. This is to make sure results are declared on time.
