The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to start JEE Mains 2026 registration in October 2025. The exact dates will be announced on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Mains 2026 will have two sessions, in January and April.

Exam Details and Paper Structure

JEE Mains 2026 will have two shifts each day. The morning shift is from 9 am to 12 noon. The afternoon shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm. There are two papers in JEE Mains. Paper 1 is for B.E. and B.Tech courses. It is also needed to take JEE Advanced for IIT admission. Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
