The National Testing Agency has announced the schedule for JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 and 2. The exams will be held in January and April 2026 for engineering college admissions across India.

Important Dates for JEE Mains 2026

Students can apply for Session 1 from October 2025. The exam will be from January 21 to 30, 2026. For Session 2, forms will open in late January 2026. The exam dates are April 1 to 10, 2026. NTA will add more exam cities to help more students take the test easily. They will also give extra help to disabled students.

How to Apply for JEE Mains 2026

Students can apply on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. They need to register, fill the form, and pay the fee. If their name on Aadhaar card is different from school marksheet, they can fix it while applying. The exam will have two papers. Paper 1 is for engineering courses. Paper 2 is for architecture and planning courses. JEE Main is also the first step to get into IITs.
