IIM Bangalore has started admissions for new BSc programs in Data Science and Economics. Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are open until November 20. Students can apply on the institute website ug.iimb.ac.in.

Program Details and Eligibility

The four-year programs will be at IIM Bangalore's new Jigani campus. There are two options – BSc in Data Science with Economics minor, and BSc in Economics with Data Science minor. Each program will take 80 students. To apply, students must be 20 years or younger by August 1, 2026. They need to have passed Class 12 with maths. They also need at least 60% marks in Class 10 maths.

Admission Process and Timeline

Students need to take the IIM Bangalore Undergraduate Admissions Test on December 13. After that, there will be in-person interviews in January 2026. The final admission offers will be given by February 28, 2026. The programs are made as per the National Education Policy. They mix classroom learning with real-world practice.
