Festival Theme and Focus Areas
The festival theme is Vigyan Se Samriddhi – Science to Prosperity. It will focus on five main areas. These are science and ecology of North-West India and Himalayas, science for society and education, self-reliant India through science, biotechnology and bio-economy, and mixing old knowledge with new science. The event aims to show India's science achievements and get more people interested in science.
Activities and Organizers
The festival will have science shows, business meetings, contests, and cultural programs. These will help connect labs and society. The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology and Vijnana Bharati are organizing the event. Earth Sciences Minister Jitendra Singh asked students, new companies, and citizens to take part. The festival started in 2015 and has become one of India's biggest events to promote science thinking.
