School headmasters must submit printed application forms, nominal rolls, and fee receipts to District Educational Officers by October 22. The DEOs then need to send verified documents to the Director of Government Examinations in Hyderabad by October 24. Eligibility and Application Process
To apply, students must be in Class 8 at a government, local body, or aided school. Their family income should not be more than Rs 3,50,000 per year. Students can apply on the BSE Telangana website. They need to fill in details, upload documents, and pay the exam fee. Qualified students will get Rs 12,000 per year from Class 9 to 12. The money will go directly to their bank accounts through the National Scholarship Portal.
It is informed that the last date to register the application online and the due dates for payment of examination fee for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination by the students who are studying in Class VIII during Academic Year 2025-26 is hereby extended up to October 18, 2025.
