Why This Money is Important

Minister Sood said this money will help make colleges better. It will pay teachers on time and fix college buildings. He said old governments did not give money to colleges. This made life hard for students and teachers. The new government wants to make Delhi colleges very good. They are giving 24 crore rupees more to fix buildings and pay for water and power. Sood called this money a Diwali gift from Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to Delhi teachers and students.

If institutions are not financially sound, they cannot produce capable and competent students.
