Courses and Admission Details
The successful candidates can join different defence courses. These include the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy in Kerala, Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy in Chennai. The courses will start in July and October 2026. UPSC said that the selection is not final yet. Candidates must show their original documents to prove their age, education, and NCC certificates.
Next Steps for Candidates
Candidates need to send their original certificates to the defence headquarters. The deadline for IMA and INA is July 1, 2026. Those who want to join the Army should register on the joinindianarmy.nic.in website. This will help them get updates about their interviews. UPSC will put the marksheets on their website within 15 days after the final OTA results. These marksheets will be available online for 30 days.
