The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the NEET PG results of 22 candidates. This action was taken due to malpractice in exams held between 2021 and 2025.
Details of Cancelled Results
Out of 22 cancelled results, 13 were from the 2025 session. The rest were from earlier years – 3 from 2024, 4 from 2023, and 1 each from 2022 and 2021. NBEMS said using these cancelled results for any purpose like jobs or admissions is not allowed. They also said they are not responsible for any admissions or jobs already given based on these results.
Reasons for Cancellation
The NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee made this decision after a big investigation. They found proof of cheating in many exam cycles. One candidate, Srusti Bommanahalli Rajanna, was disqualified after a Karnataka High Court ruling. The other 21 candidates were found guilty of cheating by the ethics panel. This news came after many students asked on social media how private companies got their data to offer admissions.
