Funding Issues Resolved

The state government delayed RTE admissions because they did not have money. This happened because Tamil Nadu did not follow the three-language policy in PM Shri schools. So the central government did not give them 2151 crore rupees. But now, after court orders, the central government has given the money. This includes 362 crore rupees for last year and 87.8 crore rupees for this year.

The govt of India has now released the funds, thereby enabling the commencement of RTE admission for 2025-26 across TN.
