CBSE has released the tentative timetable for Class 10 Board Exam. The exam will start on February 17 with Mathematics and end on March 9 with language and music papers.

CBSE has released the tentative timetable for Class 10 Board Exam 2026. The exam will start on February 17 with Mathematics and end on March 9 with language and music papers.

Exam Schedule and Details

The Class 10 board exam will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm every day. It will begin with Mathematics Standard and Basic subjects. The second board exam for Class 10 will start on May 15 and end on June 1, 2026. This exam is for compartment subjects. Students can find the timetable on the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

Expected Participation and Preparations

About 45 lakh students are likely to take the exam in 204 subjects. These students will come from India and 26 other countries. CBSE will conduct practical exams and evaluations along with the main exams. This is to make sure results are declared on time. The board will also handle post-result work during this period.
