Two Language Formula for Primary Classes

For Class 1 and 2, there will be two languages. One will be mother tongue, like Tamil in Tamil Nadu. The other language is the states choice. From Class 6 to 10, there is a three language formula. Pradhan said Tamil Nadu must accept the MoU for Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan funds. He said the state gets money for schemes like Mid Day Meal. The minister met Tamil Nadu Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. He promised help on Right to Education issues. Pradhan said those creating language division have failed.
