Three Indian institutes have made it to the top 100 of the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026. IIM Bangalore is at 52nd spot, IIM Ahmedabad at 58th, and IIM Calcutta at 64th in the list released on Wednesday.
IIM Bangalore Leads Indian B-Schools
IIM Bangalore is now the highest-ranked Indian business school. It moved up one place from last year. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta also did well. They are now among the worlds best MBA programs. IIM Indore also did its best so far. It is now in the 151-200 bracket. In total, 14 Indian schools are on the global MBA list.
Indian Schools Do Well in Management Rankings
Indian schools also did well in the QS Business Masters Rankings 2026. There are now 37 Indian programs on this list. This includes 10 new ones. In the Masters in Management category, IIM Bangalore is 7th, IIM Ahmedabad is 11th, and IIM Calcutta is 12th. They are all in the worlds top 15. IIM Lucknow, Kozhikode, and Indore are also in the global top 50. But no Indian school is in the top 200 for finance programs.
