PM Modi to Visit 5 States, Launch Projects Worth Rs 72,000 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar from 13th to 15th September. He will launch development projects worth over Rs 72,000 crore across these states, including railways, roads, energy and sports facilities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar from 13th to 15th September. He will launch development projects worth over Rs 72,000 crore across these states, including railways, roads, energy and sports facilities.

Mizoram and Manipur Projects

In Mizoram, Modi will start projects worth Rs 9,000 crore. The big one is a new rail line connecting Mizoram to the rest of India. He will also flag off three new trains from Mizoram. In Manipur, he will launch projects worth Rs 7,300 crore. These include new roads and hostels for working women. He will also open new government buildings in Imphal worth Rs 1,200 crore.

Assam, West Bengal and Bihar Plans

In Assam, Modi will start projects worth Rs 18,530 crore. He will open a new bio-fuel plant and lay the base for a plastic factory. In West Bengal, he will open a big military meeting. In Bihar, he will start a new airport terminal in Purnea. He will also launch projects worth Rs 36,000 crore in Bihar. This includes a big power plant and new train lines. Modi will also start a new board to help makhana farmers in Bihar.

The Prime Minister's visit aims to boost development across Northeast and Eastern India.
