Home Minister Amit Shah launched the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Traveller Programme at 5 new airports today. The program is now available at Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Trichy, Kozhikode, and Amritsar airports.

How the Fast Track Immigration Program Works

Travelers must register online and give their details on the FTI-TTP website. They need to upload documents and give their fingerprints at the airport or immigration office. At the airport, registered travelers scan their boarding pass and passport at special gates. The gates check their fingerprints and open if everything matches. This gives quick immigration clearance in just 30 seconds.
