Around 3.19 lakh people will take the West Bengal SSC exam today for assistant teacher jobs in classes 9 and 10. The test is happening after 26,000 school staff lost their jobs due to a Supreme Court order.
Exam Details and Security Measures
The exam will start at 12 pm in 636 centers across West Bengal. Candidates must reach 2 hours early. They can only bring pens. No phones or other devices are allowed. The SSC has put special marks on each question paper to stop cheating. Barcode scanners will check admit cards at the entrance. Even SSC officials cannot take phones inside exam halls.
