Delhi Food Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa checked the free ration distribution under the National Food Security Act. About 57% of September ration has been given out, including to 145,000 people under the One Nation One Ration Card scheme in Delhi.

Flood impact and ration distribution

The Delhi government is looking at how floods affected some parts of the city during the rainy season. They are trying to help people in need. September ration is being given free to those who should get it. This includes people from other states who can use their ration cards in Delhi. The government is giving out wheat, rice, and sugar to over 7 million people who need help with food.

Fair price shops and migrant support

Sirsa told officials to keep fair price shops open. These shops must show details about what people can get and how much food is left. They should also show phone numbers for help. Delhi is doing well in giving ration to people from other states. Sirsa said they are making sure food reaches everyone who needs it. They are also working with another department to give ready-to-eat food packets to people in need.

We are ensuring that food reaches everyone in need. I have instructed officials to maintain fair price shops operations and prevent any deprivation of rations.

The remaining 43% of September ration will be distributed as soon as possible. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
