RRB activates NTPC 2025 city slip; learn download steps, Aug 7-Sept 8 exam dates, pattern and preparation tips.

New Delhi, 30 July 2025 – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the city intimation slip for the Non‑Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate 2025 examination. Registered candidates can now log in to their respective regional RRB websites and view their assigned exam city, date and shift using their application credentials. The board has also announced that e‑call letters (admit cards) will be available four days before the exam date.

Why the RRB NTPC 2025 slip is important

The city slip tells candidates where they will be tested and helps them plan travel arrangements. Candidates from reserved categories can also download their free travel authority for SC/ST candidates using the same portal. SMS and email notifications are being sent to registered candidates, so it is crucial to keep contact details up to date.

How to download the city slip

1. Visit your regional RRB website.
2. Click on the link labelled “RRB NTPC UG Exam City Slip 2025”.
3. Enter your user ID, password and captcha code.
4. View your exam city and date and download the free travel pass if applicable.
5. Print the slip for your records.

Candidates who have misplaced their application details can retrieve their registration number and reset their password through the login page at rrbapply.gov.in . A dedicated helpdesk has been set up and can be reached at 9513166169 between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Exam dates and schedule

The RRB NTPC Undergraduate exam will be held between 7 August 2025 and 8 September 2025 . The computer‑based test (CBT) lasts 90 minutes and features 100 multiple‑choice questions : 40 from General Awareness, 30 from Mathematics and 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning. There is a 1/3 mark penalty for incorrect answers, so accuracy and time management are critical.

Tips for candidates

RRB officials advise candidates to arrive at the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the reporting time to complete verification formalities. Carry a printed copy of your e‑call letter, a valid photo ID and a passport‑sized photograph. Electronics, calculators and study materials are prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates should familiarise themselves with the CBT interface by practising mock tests available on official websites and focus on current affairs, mathematics fundamentals and reasoning tricks.

Why this recruitment matters

The NTPC recruitment drive fills thousands of vacancies in the Indian Railways for roles such as clerks, guards and station masters. With millions of applicants, it is one of the most competitive government exams. Recruitment experts estimate that nearly 1 crore candidates applied for the previous NTPC notification. Success not only ensures a stable career but also brings employment benefits like pension and medical coverage. Aspirants are therefore urged to utilise the preparatory time wisely.

Candidates should rely exclusively on official RRB announcements and avoid third‑party websites. Follow us for more verified updates.
